Maeng Da Thai White-Vein Kratom powder comes from the leaves of the Mitragyna speciosa kratom tree. These leaves are distinguished by their distinct network of white veins on the back.

The Mitragyna speciosa Kratom tree contains the alkaloids mitragynine and 7-hydoxymitragynine. Among the different strains, the Maeng Da Thai strains, both white-vein and red-vein, have one of the highest levels of alkaloid content found in this species.

White Vein Maeng Da is originally from Thailand but is now grown in Indonesia. Local farmers carefully pick and process the leaves, which are then finely ground into a powder.

White Maeng Da particularly stands out for its rich alkaloid content, although it has a lower concentration of 7-hydroxymitragynine. This is due to the unique conditions it is cultivated in, specifically indoors with low light and an extended drying period, resulting in its signature white vein color.

Kratom belongs to the coffee family and is a type of tree scientifically known as Mitragyna speciosa. While this species encompasses approximately seven different trees, kratom is the most renowned variety. Kratom trees and related species contain two primary compounds called mitragynine and 7-hydroxymitragynine.
